I have three cats, one having special medical needs. Nova was diagnosed with heart disease over a year ago. Most people find it too difficult to administer her meds (which she needs daily). Shawna's patience and perseverance was amazing! Within a short amount of time, Shawna administered Nova's meds as well as I do. What a relief! Not to mention it was nice to be able to go away! Shawna is a true natural with animals. The other cats love her as well! Knowing how nervous I was leaving Nova, Shawna sent me daily updates via email and I came home to very happy, obviously well cared for cats. “We went away for two weeks this summer and were admittedly a bit anxious about leaving our two 'babies' all by themselves. When we contacted Shawna she was more than willing to set up a meeting with us to meet our two cats, Billy and Bobo, and discuss the terms of care while we were to be away. We were impressed with how prepared and thorough Shawna was in our first meeting. It immediately made us feel comfortable with leaving our cats in her care and we knew they would be well looked after. While on vacation, Shawna sent personalized emails each day and kept us up to date on how Billy and Bobo were doing. As an added bonus, Shawna kept the house looking lived in and watered plants daily. We kept joking that the cats would love her more than us because she was doing such a great job looking after them, and providing so much quality play time! Upon arriving home, Billy and Bobo were happy and relaxed. They were in great shape from all their play time and you could tell that they had been looked after by someone who truly cares. Shawna had also left a daily journal that outlined the care given each day and provided notes about what she and the cats did each day during our holiday. We will definitely be calling Shawna at Condo Cat the next time we go away. We were so pleased with her level of professionalism and the quality of care that she showed our cats.
